I have spent five years on holiday in Luarca and touring around the wonderful roads on my motorcycle, to Tineo, Lugo, and all around the mountains. What a fantastic place! Everything is inexpensive, great quality and so-friendly and welcoming people. Learn some 'Tourist' Spanish before you travel, as this will much enhance your visit. Try the amazing cakes in the Ancomar cafe - definitely not to be missed! I could not travel there in 2020 due to the virus, but very much hope to return in 2021.
